We listed all summer long. Admittedly, things were not getting bid up like they did before June but we did manage decent sales. Not sure if its what we are listing or just dumb luck (will be glad to take either or Both!) but things have been Great the last couple of weeks.
Put your toe in or go ahead and take the Plunge! The water is great!

I agree with harmonygrove.....I have listed all summer also and items didn't seem to go quite as high as they do prior to summer, but the last few weeks have been good for me also and I list a variety.....from glassware to decoratives and everything in between.

I have been selling on eBay for 3 summers and found this to be a good summer. Items are not selling for high prices but for fair prices. I think the day of the big high prices are over sommer or winter.

it has been a slow summer but they all have been since 97.....some say prices will never be as high as thye once were, i agree for the most part but not completely. i find in the items i sell if i get them on a week or 2 before others get on the bandwagon that i can milk a few high, overpriced winning bids...but thats not true with all ebay items, the things i sell are not available to the masses. example... a promo item from a local bank related to college athletic team..listed 1 last week, was snatched up in a BIN for $200 in less than 3 hours after i listed it theu AW, only had 12 page views, 5 of those were me...i relisted with same BIN price and it is around $150 today, still not meeting my reserve, 300 page views and 3 more just listed yesterday by other sellers. i still think i will get my reserve but we will see, 3 days left to go(7 day auction).......i have seen this pattern time and time again, thats why i have to be the first one to get it on and i usually am.

My sell through is about 25%. But it's old-out-of-print books. This is down from about 30% during the FLD around christmas. Hope it picks up soon.

My sales are steadily picking up as people are now starting to buy more books. I would say that my sales are now becoming more consistent month to month. My average prices are higher. Next yer maybe I'll just put a whole lot more out and just sell!
