Well, I sent a package via priority mail and
added delivery confirmation. I sent to
the buyers verified address (it was a paypal
transaction). Then, I lost the Delivery Confirmation slip.....
I did, however, get a receipt from my PO which I noticed includes the Zip code of wher I sent the package to and also a Label Serial
# I could probably answer this question myself in a day or two, by going to USPS.com and entering the # but I want to be at ease tonight.
1) Does anyone have a PO which also gives a receipt with the package info?
2) Does anyone know if (or is rather certain) that the Label Serial # is the Delivery
Confirmation #?
3) If the answer to #2 is 'YES' Will
Paypal accept a copy of this receipt as proof of shipment or do they REALLY need that Green slip?
....and yes, I know that Paypal can be a crapshoot at times, so the answer to #3 could
be a moot point.....but I thought I would ask.

The complaint some have had with paypal is that they don't accept pieces of paper as proof of shipping, only something that is trackable online. That means that all you need is the delivery confirmation number, not the physical piece of paper. I created an auction form where I fill in the info on anything I sell. One of the fields is the DC number. Now that I ship with Endicia, I get free DC and endicia keeps a log of all my packages and the DC. This makes it so much easier for me to track what I shipped.
