I just tried to revise an auction that ends in 13 hours and got this message "You are not allowed to update an item's information prior to the last 24 hours of a listing.
If you wish to change the price or quantity of this item or update the item information, please end this listing and create a new listing with the desired item information."
Why on earth not?? There are no bids. How long has this been true? I'm sure I've done it before in the last 3 years. Oh well.

It's part of the new bid retraction policy, though the announcement said sellers couldn't revise a listing in the last 12 hours:
Here is the Announcement about the Bid retraction policy:

I just had the same thing happen to me........
Thought I just had too many beers.....
But why would they do this....? Can you still end an auction
in this time frame.......?
