I know this is a very long statement but you must read this if paypal restricted your account.i have been a paypal member for over a year everything went smoothly for a while then i started receiving big amounts of money finally getting finiancilly secure.Next day i log into paypal oh my god its restricted how much money did i have in it only over 5,500 stupid me i was going to withdraw it in the morning. Now heres the funny part i was restricted because i had more than 1 premier account so they have a right to take my 5,500 dollars because its against rules i wonder how many people spend 2 hours reading there stupid rules.Thats ok no way i will let them get away with my life savings.Today i called the better business bearua to file a report against them they have a unsatisfactory rating and over 300 complaints that is done.Luckily my friend is a lawyer he started cracking up when i told him this but he said it will be no point to sue them as it will cost more in court fees but if i could get around 20-30 people who also got screwed by paypal we can all file a class action lawsuit not to only get our money back but to have paypal shut down by the justice department so if paypal did this to you just email me at [email protected] and we will file this lawsuit when i get enough people. My FRIEND IS A VERY NICE GUY AND WONT CHARGE US ANY MONEY UNTIL WE RECEIVE A SETTLEMENT HE THEN WILL CHARGE US AS A NORMAL LAWYER WICH IS 33% BUT WE WILL SUE FOR COURT FEEES AND MUCH MORE DONT THINK IM TRYING TO SCAM YOU BECAUSE I WANT MY MONEY BACK JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO THE ONLY SCAM THERE IS IS PAYPAL AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS TRUE!ONCE AGAIN [email protected] only contact me if your serious if your going to mess around your email will be ignored.

common man this is not a laughing matter i am 250% serious just put my self in my situation and other peoples situations where they lost half of there life savings and they havent done anything wrong now i know how paypal makes so much money and its not by 2.2% that they charge cause they have to pay that to use a merchant. And im not saying they will be shut down its up to the justice department and it will be a long process wont happen tomorow just to get a court date its around a yr!

So you violate the terms of use, and you're surprised that they restrict things while they investigate?

Since you are also NARU'D on eBay will you be filing a lawsuit against them too? How did you get all of the money from selling since all your feedback is for buying?

metsquad1 - I can understand why you're upset, and I would be, too. That's a large amount of money. Restriction of one's PayPal account isn't permanent, though, is it? I can't imagine them just deciding to keep your money. Have they told you how long you'll have to wait until your account is no longer restricted?

And not one feedback for selling. But you sure have a lot of repeat buyers, sometimes even buying the same model over and over.

I don't think I have to remind anyone not everyone who uses paypay is registered to buy or sell on auction !!!

Paypal now promotes there services for investing money and has other uses and purposes outside of Auctions.

I have to agree that this person did break with paypals terms by haveing more then one account but also remember paypal has been changeing its rules nearly weekly for the last year and before these buyer and seller protection plans and busniess accounts I don't believe there was no rules against this type of thing.

also I think this person will find the account was locked more for the protection of the funds in it untill they can sort thing out and prove both account belong to them..

How'd you make so much $$ and get only 13 positives in FB?

"because i had more than 1 premier account so they have a right to take my 5,500 dollars because its against rules "

NARU for FB solicitation, more than one PP account... boy you like to bend the rules don't you?
But don't worry, they do not have a right to keep your money... if it's really Your money!!

They are probably holding the money for suspicion of money laundering or credit card fraud. All of this rule bending will not help your case.

Ok, I'll fall for the troll post but I also have the same question as newguy asked.....

NARU'd account with a 13 feedback for buying, how on earth can you have $5,500 in a PayPal account?

And then, WHY on earth would anyone leave that much in there?

Also....

"My FRIEND IS A VERY NICE GUY AND WONT CHARGE US ANY MONEY"

I'm with roofguy, that speaks volumes!

Personally, I would rather put $1.00 in an envelope and mail it to 6 people, who in turn would put my name...........

like i said if you dont got a complaint against paypal why are you responding i am not asking for your opinion this one guy bought 3500 of phones alone thats where the 5500 comes in for i asked him for a certified check but he said i dont have good feedback so he rather pay with paypal wich he is protected with.you are entitled to your own opinion but i really dont wanna here it!you dont know what went down so why are you judging. i am not looking for people to judge me all im looking for is to start this lawsuit so i can get my money back and so paypal never does this again!
