I am a Star Wars seller and I just purchased my largest collection yet. I was thinking on posting the items this Sunday, but I don't know about the whole holiday/labor day situation. Has anyone one had and good/bad experiences?

I find that the start time doesn't matter nearly as much as the end time. If ya post it on Sunday for a 7-day, it'll end on the next sunday.

Generally speaking, Sunday is considered the best time to end an auction.

'Generally speaking, Sunday is considered the best time to end an auction.'

But not necessarily if it's a Sunday in a long weekend!! I think that's what the poster was referring to.

I've always had very nice success w/auctions ending on holidays.

First, not everyone is going somewhere special. Some are just chillin around the house & sometimes finally have the opportunity to kick back & check out the action online.

Second, it's not a holiday for the rest of the world.
