I have a disgruntled bidder who has been interfering in my auctions by e-mailing potential buyers not to buy from me. I've already e-mailed safe harbor twice before and he's back again...Please help.

First, you need to add this individual to your bid block, just to make sure he isn't bidding in any of your current or future auctions.

If he's contacting your winning bidders he will be suspended for auction interference. He must be using eBay email system to reach these users, so it should not be difficult for eBay Safe harbor to detect this activity.

While the investigation is taking place, I would send a cease and dissist email to this individual demading that he immediately refrain from bidding or interfering with your auctions. cc Safe Harbor with this letter. This will also put him on record with eBay.

Best of luck to you.

Hi,
since he is emailing your buyers
which may result in cancelation of their bids
(retraction) I would also include a small
note about the possibility of a spam from this individual in the description of the auction so the potentional buyers know
what is going on, and also,
since he has to go to the page to use
the email system maybe he will see it and stop.
or create a section about this
with an explanation on your "about me page".
In every case the potentional
buyers will think that you are honest
and that you are giving them all the info
so when they get the spam from this person
ithey will know to forward it to safe harbor
or to you and they wont have to worry about
all the lies (or what ever) he tells them.
(that's what I would do)
Hope you will get rid of him and that he wont cost you anymore problems.
Ciao
Laiochka

From what I understand, the only way he can get the email addresses to contact your bidders is to request their contact information through ebay. I would email [email protected] and explain the situation. If they find he has been pulling contact information to interfere in your auctions I bet they will NARU him real quick.
