Ok here is the story, not much to it. Buyer bids, wins, doesn't respond to EOA email. I wait 3 days and email by send this auction to a friend, no response, wait 2 more days, use ebays payment reminder, no response, wait 7 days, file NPB alert, no response, wait the required 10 days file FVF. Bidder gets NARU asap. I mean I went to the auction page before filing he was still registered, I go back immediately after filing he is NARU.

Then days later he emails me that he sent Paypal weeks ago and why hasn't he heard from me, well I think he heard from me several times threw ebays process but none the less, I say, auction relisted and resold, you need to cancel payment since I never received it. Who knows if he really even sent one, I didn't get one, so it's either to the wrong email address or he didn't even send it.

He emails back that he can't it cleared, it was an echeck and it's unclaimed by me and that I must tell ebay to remove the NPB. I say you need to cancel it and make no reference as to whether or not I will tell ebay to stop the NPB, because frankly I won't I wasn't paid by him.

He claims he mistyped my email addy, which is possible, but why no response to me, the NPB alert or any of my emails for more than 3 weeks?

He says I can verify with paypal that he paid and that I must do so and have the NPB warning removed, I have no way to verify that, if he truely typed in my email addy wrong.

So here I sit, thinking I will not remove the NPB because he never paid me, he is NARU, has 8 negs for non payment, all old from April-Dec last year, I think he has been NARU before and came back started bidding again, he's won three auctions since July and received no feedback for any of them, wondering if I should email the other sellers to see if he is trying to convince them that he paid and sent it to the wrong address.

So am I wrong for not reversing the NPB warning?

Are you wrong? No way. You didn't get paid and it's not your fault this bidder is a dufus.

Typo edit.

Seems if your FVF request got them NARU, you where not the first. Sounds like reality just sank in to this "buyer".

You were more than patient, and several of your communications went through ebays server, so you know he got them! Guy's just trying to weasel his way back in, IMO.
