Anyone noticed it? Felt it? Seen occurances of it?
Feedback with S/B indicators missing. Search functions not finding items and then two minutes later the same search finds it.
Reset servers errors when doing certain functions. CGI scripting errors.
In the last two days, doing my NORMAL operations, there are subtle signs. Too many to even mention.
It's coming folks. You can feel this one! We can call it the Great Crash of 2001!
Bailing wire, bubble gum, and duct tape only hold for SO long.
So, what do you folks think?

Add to your list, not being able to re-list. The problem seems intermitent, but sometimes I can relist and other times I can not connect to the server.

Let's not forget My eBay only showing items that were sold - not those for sale (at least that was it for me on Tuesday & Wednesday)

Tuesday, Wednesday, and today. All these problems are not going away but becoming more frequent.
Ebay is now a mishmash of cobbled cgi scripting and javascripts that is it amazing that it holds together.

eBay has had computer error messages for as long as I can remember. None of these things mean very much. There is a likelihood that things might get dangerously lax when the main techies go on vacation, but even that is not a sure bet.
I constantly read about errors here on AW that can usually be cured by simply logging off and dialing up again or clearing out one's temp internet folder.
I can almost guarantee that the next big crash will probably come with little or no warning.

I'm having a problem too - with my pictures not always showing up - I have to hit the reload button in order to see them.
I hope the bidders know to do this step if no picture shows up but instead the red x!

Considering redialing DOESN'T cure it, and the signs I am talking about are internal matters, such as missing information on someone feedback that doesn't comeback even with reformatting your hard drive. (example: last two days of S/B column are missing from feedback on just about everybody)
Plus, I guess those of us that have constant on connections might find it hard to redial. Reboot maybe.
No matter, I have been ebaying since its inception (I love pez), and deal with ebay each day. You can see the subtle changes and problems that lead up to crashes.
Most crashes occur after some major change or upgrade in a particular area. What I have been noticing it is transcending to several areas.
No one is predicting the next crash here, but we could call Miss Leo.

Reformatting one's hard drive when eBay's access to server data is the problem doesn't make any sense. Most new features need some debug time. I doubt very much eBay will take a powder over this one. I do see them having problems because they load too much peripheral garbage on the site.
I could care less if the feedback's are S or B--I look to see if someone acts responsibly.

eBay problems are sometimes isolated to an area between the keyboard and head.
