I had promised to keep you updated on whatever happens with the Freddie Prinze bracelet.
The only news is that I received the card from the Post Office a couple of days ago from the certified letter I sent Freddie Jrs agent, so it was received there. So far, no word. He must be here in town, as he was on Jay Leno Wednesday.
Kinda soon to expect to hear back though, so I'll keep waiting and keep you all updated and let you know what happens eventually.
Thanks again for all your input, support and kind words. I usually think of myself as a fairly astute businessman, but in this case I didn't have a clue as to what was the right thing to do...

I don't believe there is one absolute "right thing to do" in this situation.
Fairminded people well might reach different conclusions.
You seems to have decide on a course of action, contacting the family, and I happen to think that is the best approach to take.
Having started that process I would encourage you to persue the effort until you receive a response, even if it's "Thanks but not interested", at which time you will at least know you've tried.
The best any of us can do is try to be honest with ourselves, do what we believe is right and accept the results.
I think you have found the right path for yourself and I encourage you to continue on it.

But that IS a very SICK question/comment.
I've tried to do the right thing here by asking opinions and have received many suggestions from my fellow PROFESSIONAL sellers (who are probably as greedy as I am) and have received nothing but kind words, suggestions and support.
I have followed though with what was determined through the general consensous to be the moral and proper thing to do.
I hope the moderator of this board will delete your very sick comments....
