Is anyone else getting a new pop up from eBay when reading or clicking on emails in Outlook Express? It just started this morning for us.

I get them too sometimes. eBay sends the messages in HTML along with cookies and JAVA.

The way to stop it is to set your email on Plain Text in Outlook Express.

PayPal sends cookies with messages, Billpoint sends cookies with messages,......it goes on and on...

I don't see a way in OE 5 to "read" messages only in Plain Text. There are setting for sending email and newsgroup posts, but not for reading.

The pop up I'm getting is causing problems with OE now...stupid pop ups.

Meya, I am sorry ...I plead 1:30 AM

This is worth a try: FROM OE

To create and use custom views In Outlook Express:

On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Define Views.

Click New.

Select one or more conditions for the view you are creating.

(The View Description box describes the view as you create it. Add or delete conditions, as necessary, to create the exact view you want.)

Click an underlined word in the View Description box to choose an option or to enter a value.

Click Show/Hide to decide whether to show or hide the messages that meet the view conditions.

Note
If you create a view that causes messages to unexpectedly disappear from view, simply change the Show/Hide settings for the view.
