Reasons I have been given because I have not recieved my stuff in two weeks or more, after seller has cash in hand.
Momma died. Momma got cancer. I got sick. I hurt my back. If I get an item from a seller without a hassle, its the exception. There is deadbeat bidders, but I find sellers, once they get their money, will treat you like a step-child. Oh, another thing, they take Visa/Mastercard until the bid is over then its Money Order or Cashiers Check. Let the flames begin.
I buy Junk, sell Antiques.

LOL! You have been buying from the wrong sellers then. Quite a feat getting all of those "bad" sellers, since I believe they are the exception rather than the rule.

Not sure what types categories you shop on ebay but as a seller I can saymost of my shipping is done within 48 hours of payment.
I think the problem with sellers when there listing states they accept Credit cards and then in there EOA only state money order and checks is that there is a link right on the auction listing to pay the seller with billpoint.
they dont include the credit card option because its already avalable in the listing.
Most buyers who want to pay with billpoint or paypal write me before I can even get my EOA out telling me they have already paid.
I have had Items show up at buyers door step or mail box within 24 to 36 hours after there bid and payment.
sometime the only Communication between us is the billpoint notice and an email from me telling them item is in the mail.
