Anyone can tell me how to make pictures enlargeable via the Auctionworks site? When it is only a single pic? Is it something to do with the pixels?

it has to do with haveing a larger picture of the Item.

Just changeing pixle size useing HTML would just give you a distored picture.

You would link the smaller picture to the larger picture make the small picture a clickable button or link to the larger one.

you can do this by storeing the larger picture on there server but since they charge you for hard drive space you use it would be more cost effective to store your larger pictures on your own Host.

Here is a tip for any one who has ICQ you can host your own auction picture on your own computer useing the ICQ homepage feature ICQ turns your computer in to a web server so if you are on cable modem or DSL you can host your own auction photo's and store fronts.

for more information check out ICQ web front.

Here is the easiest HTML for making a picture clickable to make it larger. Just substitute the ************** for the URL of your image. You have to enter the URL twice.

<A HREF="*****************">
<IMG SRC="*****************" WIDTH=292 BORDER=0 ALT='Click to enlarge'><BR>
<FONT COLOR='#ff0000' SIZE='1' FACE='Verdana,Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif'>Click to Enlarge Picture</FONT>
<P><BR></A>

You will end up with a small picture, 292 pixels wide that when you click on it, brings you to the full size copy of the picture.

Well, I guess I'm just an old fashioned moron... know just a bit of HTML to avoid running all over myself at Ebay.

Not all that other. Using Auctionworks, I see some others are. Their pix are clickable, according to the site this is super easy, seems I'm missing a box to click or something.

Asked support, they tell me I need to call in the morning. I hate hold.......

I believe that may be in preferences. I know in my downloaded version there is a box checked to resize pictures for quicker loading and viewing.

Click on the "My Account" tab and then go to "global preferences". At the bottom will be a list of things you can do and one of them, I believe at the end of the list, is Make pics smaller for faster viewing or something like that. This will make them all the "clickable" to enlarge type.

Edited to add:
Sorry about the vagueness on some of the exact wording but my memory just isn't what it used to be and even though I was just there I can't remember exactly how it was all stated! (Too much Ebay I think)
