Is the Ebay Store extention just for Super Sellers? I read an announcement that indicated the free store would be extended until Oct 1st, but mentioned Super Sellers. Is it for all of us who are still trying to decide if we want the store or not. I haven't had the first bid on my Store.

YES,THEY WILL KEEP EXTENDING AND EXTENDING ,SOME FOLKS HAVE VERY THICK SKIN.
they have done a lousy job with the storefront, now they want to savage it,why dont they improve the format?

Is anyone even selling anything from their ebay store? I'm beginning to think that the buyers are so stuck on the auction format that they won't even buy from a store.

Stunningly my store sales have taken off in the last 2 weeks. Nothing to make me go into the back pasture and do a naked happy dance, but it does appear atleast MY customers have finally found their way there.
I don't Really believe that is the problem with the store fronts at all, Your store front Items show up in your other items link from your auction and your auctions show up in your store front.
Ebay has had BIN priceing now for quite a while and its been sucessfull.
I'm not totally Sure why buyers are shying from viewing and bidding store Items since most uses stores offer the same Items there auctions do only at a fixed bin price no waiting.
I think the store Fronts bigest sucess will come from buyers who need items fast, People who buy there packageing goods and label and computer parts will be able to jump in the store BIN the item and have it within 24 to 36 hours rather then waiting 7 to 10 days for an auction to end.
seller who step up and offer garenteed delivery times and return policys will be the big winners.
No one in the Online bussiness can afford to be with out a working computer so if one needs a good deal on say a mother board they dont want to wait they would be willing to jump in the Ebay store BIN the part they need and pay Next day express shipping or over night.
At this time though most Ebay auction sellers dont have a reputation for this type of service.
Auction sellers for the past years have been spending time wrestleing with Ebay buyer over high shipping costs, buyers whineing there old antique widget looks old and so on.
there is the buyers trying to wrestle with sellers who take there money and then just take weeks to decide to ship whats already been paid for or listening to sellers who say they are to busy in life didnt get time.
Ebay store sucess will only come when the buyer seller relationship changes, when shipping that purchased $39 printer to the buyer Over Night or express mail to the buyer who's bussines will suffer with out it is there number 1 priority.
I dont really feel the store fronts at first are going to work for the small time hobby sellers, who have all one of a kind item's and work full time jobs or only get to check there email every other day.
Auctions are and will be for leasure activity Store fronts I think are going to be when you need what your looking for yesterday and the policies and services will in time will help change the relationships of buyers and sellers.
