Can anyone tell me if there is a good, cheep program out there for listing and managing ebay auctions. I think I have downloaded just about everything I can find and found all kinds of bad stuff. Before you get started, these are the programs I have tried in the last couple of months.
Shooting Star...Sorry, the email doesn't work
Auction Watch Manager Pro..Too costly. I already pay ebay for heaven sake!!
AuctionMate..pictures don't show up in auctions.
Auction Lizard..a joke
And others I can't think of right now. The bottom line is that I don't put up 100's of auctions at a time and I don't need to pay anyone more than $50 for the program. I had Auction Amigo and loved it but they went out of business and kept my money! I haven't found anything to replace it. Any help out there?

Sellers Assistant from ebay but it's going to be more than $50. Runs $4.95/month.

I used to use Auction Amigo, but since they are now gone, I have switched to Auction Tamer. I really like it because it automatically sends my EOA notices. Cost me $49.95

Auction Tamer does handle emails, in fact, it has an Auto-send feature. As far as pic hosting, most of the 1-time-pay software does not have image hosting, but that is easily fixable for a small amount of $.
I had some difficulty figuring it out as well, but after running a test auction, I had it down, and customized it completely.

Hi,
I'm going through the same thing since Auction Amigo died. There is a list at auctionusers.org under benefits. If you join (for free)you can get a discount. There is also Epigroove. Shooting Star seems to be going through growing pains. It crashes everytime I try to list an auction. The program looked nice but they don't respond to their emails so I never could get it to run and the price was right. Auction Trekker has a basic version that is cheap. Most of the pc based software do not host pictures but you can find image hosting sites for $5 and possibly free if you check around. Epigroove is easy to get up and running but auctions have to be posted one by one. I'm like dman, I couldn't understand Auction Tamer and that split screen interface hurt my eyes but many like it. Same with Auction Trekker. Nice clean interface but it had too high of a learning curve. I couldn't even figure out how to post an auction after staring at for 15 minutes. There is also Auctiva and Sellers Assistant through Ebay.

If you are an ex auction amigo customer, you can try ebud(auctiva) free for 6 months. I've been using them & so far I am happy except that I cant get them to send emails for my EOA! Its an SMTP problem so hopefully we can get it resolved soon.
I am trying out auction trakker & I seem to like the simplicity of it except I think eBud is easier & so is their auctiva poster.
I currently am using vranes' power mailer. Very easy to use & reliable although i am still trying to figure out how the auto mailer works. Its $8.99 for 40 days. I just paid the fee since I post around 200-400 auctios a month & this auto mailer/bulk emailer saves me so much time.
If my ebud email still wont work, I am considering buying the auction trakker's basic edition for $39.99.You get to try it free for 30 days.
I tried channel fusion but had a ton of problems with them. I couldn't log in & they couldn't figure out why I can't get in their program . SO I just had them cancel my trial account. Just too risky!
I also have a website & host my pictures from there.

If you do not want to send a lot of money, you might want to try eBays own Mister Lisster Program which is free. When I used it, I used a combination of other programs to do my email and auction tracking.....
My preference is for the Sellers Assistant program.

I've been using "Auction Submit". It is really easy to use and set up, plus it's free. It doesn't have an auto send feature, the main advantage of it is you can do some serious bulkloading with this program, and it does keep track of everything nicely.

I want to thank everyone for there help but I especially want to thank shrty411, the Kauctions program is a real gem!! Just what I have been looking for and for a reasonable price. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a program that will do what it says it will do. With a low learning curve. If anyone is looking for a program this is one to check out. It doesn't do bulk loading but for those of us who don't mind listing one item at a time, this one works!!
Thanks again.

I would agree that the learning curve on AuctionTrakker is high. But if you have questions, you can always visit their active forum board to find your answer. Most of your questions will have already been answered. And if it is not there, you can post a message and a forum member or support person will answer quickly.
Its a beautiful piece of software that I love using every day.

I use Mister Lister which is still free from eBay. Once you have it set right, it stays that way even when you upgrade it. The current versions are much improved over the early buggy ones.
My auctions are stored in an Access database that I custom built. Does almost everything else. I use it because it lets me handle my non-eBay sales equally well.

Hello Everyone,
Since the Originator of the thread appears to have their question answered, and also since this thread appears promotional of competitors, I'm going to lock this up.
Thank you,
Sara
