Buyer wanted a refund as she didn't like the Color. This was a piece of Pottery and the pictures and description were very clear. I don't mind refunding however this is not a department store it is an auction and there were 6 bids including hers. Your Opinion!

I personally wouldn't. That's me, however. Are you selling a bunch of new items or do you sell older items?

I would also note all sales final in your auctions.

If you do decide to, I would not refund shipping or listing fees.

Since I sell new items, my return policy is as follows:

- defective items are replaced with new ones
- if the buyer ordered the wrong thing and it is not opened, buyer can return for full credit toward another item (but buyer pays all shipping costs) or buyer can return for refund less shipping costs and 20%
- if opened, buyer can return for credit toward another item less shipping costs and 20% or for 50% refund.

Since I dont accept credit cards through Paypal, Billpoint or Paydirect, I don't worry about charge backs, though I only had one buyer order the wrong thing in two years and he simply returned it for credit.

Were the colors in the auction clear and precise or were there variations, maybe touch ups. I ask because that happens to me sometimes when I try to make an item brighter or clearer, etc.

However, if the color is basically the same
and she knew very well what she was bidding on, then I wouldn't refund because it sounds like buyer's remorse. That's one thing I never allow.

you are certainly under NO obligation to refund unless you stated it in your auction.

Different monitors display colors differently. It's possible that it is different than the item appeared on your/her monitor.

More than likely though, it's just "buyers remorse".

It would be hard to say if the Color was good on the buyer monitor as color can and does vary on each one.

What should be asked is if the color was describe corectly , basically I sell all sales finial and only refund for loss or damage due to an error I might have made.
