I posted an item about 2 hours ago and decided to see how many other items of this brand were posted- It's a British toy and when I put the name in others come up but not mine-yet the item has been posted to EBAY and has a number- Anyone else had this problem???? I don't usuually check this-

It could take a bit longer than 2 hours for eBay's database to get updated with your new auction. Check it in a few hours or in the AM.

Items have to be indexed into various databases, and then updates from those databases are posted throughout the day. It usually takes 2-4 hours for an item to appear in its category, 2-6 hours for it to be found in title search, and 10-12 hours for it to be found in title w/description search.
The time is on the lesser side if your listing was submitted before the cutoff time for update; on the longer side if your listing was submitted after an update was posted.
The update time for category listings is posted on the top right-hand corner of the category listing page; the update time for search is posted at the bottom left-hand corner of the results page.

And don't forget.. if you're trying to use AW's Universal Search.. it won't EVER come up since Ebay site isn't supported there anymore. (saw a thread on that SOMEwhere around here.. )
