Beany Baby Heaven for some. A yawn for others.

USPS treasures.

I am feeling nauseous.

And THEY say there's nothing good on TV ..... They could fashion it after the TV show "It's a Miracle", using examples like the bidder who pays after a month, the check bouncer who makes good, and a whole entire Sunday evening WITHOUT the site going down!

If they are gonna do stories on sellers, will we be in our natural habitats?....Geez, I had better wash my pj's and perhaps a shower is in order!....What about the au natural sellers?...YIKES!!!....

Here's a question for ya:...Would you appear on the show?
Personally, I would have to lose a few (ok, maybe more than a FEW) pounds and would have to think about it...Guess, whether or not they would PAY me to appear, would effect my decision...

Guess I won't go out and get me an agent just yet.

Like out of how ever many freakin' gazillion users, they'll probably be able to get a few to do it for free.

Ya think they'll have any trouble getting the nekkid kettle guy? I'll bet he'll work for cheap.

Too bad Lucille Ball is deceased. Somehow I see her doing an outstanding job of starring in the Meg Whitman role.

I would guess this will be another attempt by Ebay to sell a feature for the big bucks. Start off including normal power sellers, end up being nothing more than an infomorcial.

Probably have the estate sale auctions (isn't that what part of the "live" is, now?) and Butterfields. Non high dollar players need not apply.

Anything that creates positive interest in eBay among the untapped millions that aren't already buyers is a good thing (hate to buck the trend of pessimism). Of course they have to feature the more interesting items, but the spillover effect should be good even for my comparatively mundane wares. Just look at all the crazy junk that people buy like hotcakes on home shopping channels. The important thing is to get people to the site with buying in mind.

If Yahoo! or any of the other pretenders actually invested in innovative advertising there would be some competition.

eBay I salute you (on this at least).

If it is supposed to be a 30 minute show, is it going to be 12 minutes of show and 18 minutes of technical difficulties?

I would imagine that it will attract new eBayers, but the question is, will they be new buyers or new sellers, who think there stuff is "gold"? Bad enough that shows like "Incurable Collector" and "Antique Road Show", et al, have people thinking their things are worth millions. What we need is another show to fortify their beliefs!!!

I would imagine that most people who sell on eBay also buy. I'm a seller, but I also make about 2 purchases every month as well. Most of the sellers are just closet cleaners anyway. I credit eBay with being smart enough to know what they have to do with this show, reinforce the idea that ebay is the place to go to find whatever whatsit it is that holds some meaning for you.

I know that without eBay I would have a hell of a time keeping my little boy in obscure Batman and X-Men toys that haven't been made for a couple of years.

I hope he's the FIRST ebay seller featured on the new show, though I don't expect his photograph to make it past the censors!!!!!

Now admit it. . . .how many of you WON'T be watching when it premieres?????????????????

34 million registered users?

Does that count the tons of AOL users who have 800 usernames apiece?
