I'm trying to help a neighbor sell two different timeshares on property in FLA. and wondered if anyone knows about doing it on ebay...is it allowed? Can you post a link to the resort's website? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Travel catagory and see all the timeshares for sale along with 4000+ other
vacation ripoffs...(My experienced opinion)
Vacation vouchers, free airfare(yeah right)
etc...

I found timeshares for sale at the Buck Hill Inn - right at the same time that MTV's FEAR was at The Buck Hill Inn connecting with the spirits there
It was obviously closed .... guess someone thought they could pull a fast one ... and got busted by MTV

Timeshares are like life insurance - sold not bought. The resorts have VERY skilled high pressure salesmen, your ad will have to be really something to get anyone to buy, esp since they can't visit. We had two FL timeshares we ended up giving away just to get out from under the annual fee.
We did once manage to swap one to a guy who was moving away and wanted to keep a pied a terre in his native Florida.
I wouldn't put much money into the sale attempt.
Century 21 Resales handles these, but they are a drug on the market. Make a nice gift if you have a family member who wants to visit that area and has enough income to be wiling to spend the fees.

I would find out more details about the timeshare that your neighbor owns. There are timeshares for sale on ebay that do very well because they are associated with a certain company; RCI(Resorts Condominium International). If this is the company then go for it. Any others check out thoroughly. I say this from experience having owned my timeshare for 10 years now and loving every vacation I take twice a year, anywhere I want to go!
Another option is that if like myself, at least once a month timeshare resalers send me a postcard wanting to buy my property. I actually own a deed, FOREVER and that means there is actual deed transfers etc. If you read some of these auctions you will see that there are fees for closing/transfers etc.
Also quite easily you could do an online search for timeshare resalers and see what they would offer up.
Good luck!

One of my winning bidders has two up for auction right now-in the $15,000 range. Yet he/she couldn't manage to send me the $4.00 he/she owes me.
