Does anyone have a good website they use to identify depression glass (or other glass) patterns? Many of the sites I go to don't have PHOTOS! Or else you have to click on each pattern name and wait for the photo to load. It's way too slow. I just want a few good sites to check out when I find a piece of glassware or pottery at a garage sale or estate sale and need to ID the pattern name for my eBay ad.
I know there are lots of books available, but I don't want to invest that kind of money. I've used the library resources several times, but would like something at my fingertips. Any ideas???

If you don't want to buy the books necessary for research, there is no ONE web site. You might want to join a local dg club (see yellow pages. They usually have fine glass libraries tht allow members to take home books. But if you have a lot of glass, there is no substitute for your own books! Trust me. I buy books before I buy glass.

Here is a vast site with lots of links to other glass sites. I go to it often.

This is a good site. It costs a little to belong for a year, but is well worth it. The DG Shopper http://www.dgshopper.com/ It has a great reference library with almost every piece and type of glass you can imagine.
