I just need to take a moment to vent.

I sold several of my law school casebooks over the last couple of weeks. All were mailed USPS with Delivery Confirmations--some buyers opted for Priority mail, others went with Media Mail.

Two books I mailed are "missing" after having been sent Media Mail on August 22--the day after payments were received. Both buyers have sent me panicky e-mails that the USPS tracking pages say the books "were mailed from California and I <they> don't live in California! Something's terribly wrong!"

Both buyers mailed their payments to me in...yes, California.

It's all I can do not to suggest to them perhaps they should reconsider careers in the legal field.

I use auto signature with every email I send regarding sales or items I am buying
The auto signature file includes my address and phonenumber
this phonenumber is not the one on file with ebay as I have picked it up since I registered with ebay
the ebay number goes to voicemail only
This year 3 peaple have pulled my contact info from ebay called the vm only number and gotten upset each one had at least four emails from me with the always answered number included that they ignored.
spock here......
