I got an email today from a buyer whose auction item I had shipped on 8/22, wondering where it was. I had put a DC on it with Endicia when I shipped so I quickly logged into Dazzle, pulled up the postage log, clicked on the line for the item and BINGO! It was delivered at his PO on Tuesday! I was able to quickly email him that information, right from Endicia, with the tracking number and other information he might need to follow up on his so-called missing item! That was 12 cents well spent!

Same thing happened to me recently. I was able to give the buyer the info within a minute or so. Haven't heard back, so they must have found the package.
I know some people argue that DC is not worth the money, but when it is free (or 12 cents on Media Rate), then why not use it?
I like using Endicia and I'm very glad a smart cookie here at AW told me about them.

Ditto... because of the low cost or free, I try to always use DC, and when I get an email from a buyer, I can reply and give them the DC number so they can check it out for themselves. It removes the buyers thoughts that I never shipped the item.

I always email the buyer a confirmation of shipment, including the DC number and a link to the usps site so they can track the package themselves. It's a little more work on my part, but the buyers like to know when thier item has been shipped, and I NEVER got an email asking where thier item was!
