I started trying to look at auction watch around five minutes ago.In that short time I have had four Pop Up ads start to load but end up with only a blank screen. In fact most of the pop ups on auction watch don't load most of the time. Why do they bother with them if they can't do them right.

I just got the casino on net coming in..it covered the whole page..had to close it out on the taskbar to even see the aw page..anything that is that aggravating wont get 50 cents from me.

It seems that I get pop ups everywhere now (MSN especially). If I leave my task bar as is, without closing the ads, it is full soon with this junk. Does anyone even buy this stuff? I am learning to love my junk mail in comparison to these!

I installed the software below and no popups
anywhere. You would never know it's working
unless you want to enable the sound effects
when it stops a popup. I have seen some people say it didn't work that well for them but, sure does for me. Basic version is free

My husband found out that if you use adsubtract and you use Norton Antivirus software there will be a conflict. Adsubtract will prevent Norton from being able to get the latest virus definitions. This is for the automatic updates and also for doing the update manually. I'd rather deal with popups than be left vulnerable to the latest computer virus. My husband feels the same way and got rid of adsubtract in order to have the latest virus protection updates.
I don't always surf with it activated, but since it's so easy to activate and deactivate (just double click the taskbar icon), it's great for when you hit one of those sites that chokes your computer.
