I am really disgusted with ebay - it seems that they feel is I list anything with them I should cancel the rest of my life. I have a store, but do not carry the same items, or lower prices in my store. I say, visit my web-site because I carry other items ans provide informion including books. I have NO Link in my ebay page. Anyway, because of saying see my website, they cancelled my auctions.
They have gotten plenty of money from mee on listings and sales, and ai have tried to not abuse their policies - and there are thousands od sites with actual links on ebay - ,but my listings and cancelled. I assume that I can't even have anybody ev en email me because I might sell something without ebay getting their share. They are too big for their britches and I wish there were a decent alternative.

With all due respect, there is an alternative....
Don't sell on eBay.
When I signed up for eBay 4 years ago, I agreed to their terms of service. Over the years, they have changed their terms of service countless times. I have not agreed with most of the changes, but if I choose to sell there, I choose to abide by the terms of service.
Which gets to your point.
Why can't you put a link to your website? Why can't you even mention your website?
Because it is against the terms of service. If you don't like it, then by all means complain and gripe. But if you won't abide by it, then every time I find one of your auctions, I am going to report you. If I have to play by the rules, so do you.
Not trying to be mean, but I have seen this too many times.
