I recently closed my Ebay store, which neverdid a whit of business anyway. Now I find that I am unable to relist auction items. I've contacted Ebay, and they say it's yet another engineering issue. Someone at Ebay told me it would be fixed soon(not, it's been 10 days). Another said the only thing I could do was reopen my store.
.
.Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is there a workaround?

Since I havent heard any other problems of this type I would think the work around is if you were launching your auction remotely.
like through AW or an auction program of some type.

Are you using an auction program? I just now listed one, closed my store on the 31st, and I did not have a problem. I am using Sellers Assistant Pro.

I am not using an auction management program. Just plain old Ebay.

Just to be clear, I have no problem listing.....it's the re-listing that doesn't work.

I opened and closed my Ebay store within a couple days soon after they were offered. Didn't much care for the layout of the store, so I shut it down. Then any auctions I had (NOT store items, actual auctions that just happened to be running when I had a store) would relist with an apparently ability to go auction or store, even after I had closed the store. However, I couldn't relist any of these auctions. I looked and there was some sort of error on the page. Check on the bottom left of your browser. Mine would say something like 'Done, but with errors on page'. Luckily, mine was just a few auctions, but that was about a month ago. Admittedly, I never reported the problem, but it just goes to show that this is NOT something that has just popped up.

HI,
You are not alone with this problem.
I opened a ebay store when they first came open. I decided about a week ago to close it. That same evening, I could not get auctionsubmit bulkloader to put auctions up to ebay for me. Error input message. In order to get auctions up, I had to go to the ebay listing page and do a copy and paste to get auctions up. Then I tried doing relists. And that has not worked all week. Error message in the bottom left hand corner of the page. So I thought about what I had done different all week and the only thing was I had closed my store. So I opened it back up last night and then tried relisting and was able to put up 5 relists no problem. So then I tried the auctionsubmit and now I get a different error message. I have upgraded the modules and cleared my cache and still it won't work. I could not find any info on this until I found this thread. I am wondering if this glitch is ebays way of making us keep our storefronts. I have been using this bulkloader for over 2 yrs now and its always been a good program. It worked good with the storefront in place until I closed the storefront. Now I may need another bulkloader to do multiple sites and I am not liking this one bit. I like to keep up about 100 auctions per week on ebay starting in the fall. Any suggestions ?

I'd like to find a workaround to this problem. Getting awful tired of copying and pasting my relists. Waiting for Ebay to fix this is likely fruitless. On top of it all, I can't reopen my store even if I wanted to. Seems like Ebay erred again in allowing me to open the store that did no business in the first place. Name already taken by user is the message I get now when I try to reopen, and was the message I got when I tried to modify store while it was open.

Maybe I'll open a new store, as a protest site. Ebay would probably be just as quick to NARU me as they are slow to fix this glitch.
