I'll start by saying I am not planning on leaving feedback at all, under the premise of "if you can't say anything nice......"

Yes, bidder paid immediately, sort of. And here is a perfect example of WHY paying right away is not the only thing indicative of WHAT feedback should be left.

Here is what went on.

Auction was ending 8/29.

Bidder, with 0 feedback and shades writes 2 hours before the auction:

Hi, I am currently the high bidder on your XXX item, but I want YYYY item. Can you tell me if I can get YYYY item?

I write back that I cannot substitute, as I don't have YYYY item in stock, and the auction was for XXX item.

She writes back that she MEANT she wants BOTH, but she will take XXX and could I get it to Fed Ex that night for overnight delivery, as Fed EX is open until 10:00 p.m. where she lives. It is already 6:00 p.m. by me, and the auction ends in TWO hours. We also went back and forth about other items she wanted, but did not end up getting. She also tells me that she has made MANY purchases on Ebay and sellers are ALWAYS willing to substitute. The ID she is using signed up 4 days ago.

I write back, no, I cannot drive to Fed Ex that night, I don't ship Fed Ex, but if CC payment arrived by 9:00 a.m. on the 30th, I could still process it for overnight delivery on the 31st via UPS.

She wins auction. I send the usual EOA with my address, and link for CC payment. No word until the next a.m. At 9:30 she writes "sh*****t, it is 9:30 can I still have it sent today.

I write back that UPS had not yet arrived, and if she wanted overnight delivery she should send payment right away, since UPS comes in the AM.

Before I could get that mail off, I get three other mails from her. 1: "I'm waiting. Can I get it send today or not?" 2: Hello? Are you there? #3: I said I want overnight delivery, Helllloooo? I will give you my card when I hear back.

After she gets my mail, she says that she will not enter her card via the internet (she has already told me she has a paypal account, so I don't know what the problem is there). I don't take paypal because I have a merchant account.

Time is ticking. An hour and a half later, she sends payment via my shopping cart. She pays only for ground shipping. She writes "If it only takes 2 days from NN to MM then send it ground, and UPS will deliver on SAT. I write back, No, UPS does not deliver on Sat, Monday is a holiday, so she would have her items on Tues or Wed.

I then send a mail that sorry, UPS just came and left, but if she really wants it overnight, I can make a trip to the post office for her.

She writes back "So, then go to the post office. I said want these items TOMORROW, so if you cannot send them today just cancel the transaction and DO NOT charge my card, or I will file fraud charges".

And again "Helllloooo, are you there?"

And again "Are you shipping today? If you can't ship today, I don't want this item".

HUH? I TOLD her that I'd go to the post office for her and get them shipped. I mailed her when they were shipped and gave her the #

I send the item via Express mail.

P.O. screws up. Next afternoon, 2 mails:

"I SAID I WANTED THESE OVERNIGHT. THEY ARE NOT HERE. I PAID FOR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY.

and another:

ARE YOU THERE? I TOLD YOU THE ITEMS ARE NOT HERE. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THAT?

I mailed her and gave her the # AGAIN. Told her that if the P.O. did not deliver and refunded the shipping to me, I'd credit the card for the shipping.

The next day, she gets the item. No more e-mails, but she leaves post feedback stating the item is great. Super seller put up with my BS.

I have already blocked her from bidding, because, truly she was so darn stressful, it was not worth it. Threatening me with fraud, etc and her relentless e-mails were a real PITA.

This was not for a gift. It was something for herself, so she could be the envy of her friends at the barn. She comes across as a very spoiled "I want it NOW" person.

Would you just say nothing and let it go? I feel that she created a new ID because she has negs under the old one for the way she treats you, she really was quite a nasty one. I am just waiting for a chargeback )

As a wise old person once said, "If you can't say something nice, then shut up, stupid."

I wouldn't leave her any feedback. If she emailed and asked why, I'd tell her.

seem you have alot of problems with winners/bidders. you posted a threak a few days ago, the jist being a problem customer. maybe its not them all the time. maybe your approach and/or handling of them may prevoke the responses and problem you seem to attract....just a thought

OMG! I am convinced this is the same crazy bidder I had a few months back. Her "Helllloooo?" e-mails were SO annoying!

Then she of course didn't like the item and demanded to return it. It was a mess! I blocked her ID so fast! LOL! Then she came up with some story about how someone stole her user ID and password and bid up thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on her account, blah blah blah. She was an odd bird.

In answer to your question, nah, I wouldn't leave feedback. Block her and be done with it.

Did you read the entire post? "she leaves pos feedback stating the item is great. Super seller put up with my BS." pretty much says it all..

buggery:

I normally choose to ignore posts you make, wherever you post them, because you like to incite things, and rarely have anything truely constructive to say.

You can just bypass my posts.

I have over 700 feedback rating. Over 850 postives, with numerous repeat customers.

My feedbacks read as follows:

Excellant (sic) transaction. Great item. Highly recommend A+++++++++++

Awesome customer service, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLER!! Thank you

Thnx! Exactly as described! Kept up with emails. A+++++++

A++ seller: Nice XXXXX, Easy to deal with, SUPER prompt shipment. Thanks!

Exceptional product! Very fast. Pleasure to deal with. AAAAAAA+++++++

Great people to deal with, very helpful, nice products would deal with them again

Honest & friendly seller, always a pleasure to buy from, highly recomend to you! (this one from a buyer who has purchased over 5 times from me).

and on, and on.

I don't create these problems. This one was a doozy and hit me from the blindside.

If I was one to create problems like these, I'd give immediate retalitory negatives, which I did not do in EITHER case.

If my stress is self-inflicted, it is because I CARE about customer service, and want my customers to be happy. NOT because I treated them badly.

If I had a harsh way of dealing with people, I would have responded negatively to your last response in my previous thread. Instead, I chose to ignore it, as I will all of your future posts.

Have a great holiday.

Wow, it sounds like this bidder was trouble before the auction even closed.

1. She asks for a different item other than what was up for auction.

2. She requests near-instant shipment before the auction even closes (and weren't you really hoping at that point she would be outbid ).

3. She sends emails as though the seller is expected to be chained to the computer just to receive her emails.

4. She then can't seem to cooperate with sending payment in a timely enough manner to get her instant shipping.

5. She also doesn't pay enough to get the delivery she wanted.

6. She blames the seller because the shipper doesn't ship over the weekend and starts making threats if the seller can't meet her unreasonable expectations.

You're to be congratulated for keeping such a cool head about this.
