I have found something I want to bid on ~ only I am a little leary. The person has been a member of ebay for over a year. They have no negatives ~ but only two positives. One positive is for buying about 6 months ago and one is for selling last month. I checked and this person has left 3 positive feedbacks lately ~ looks like they were the seller all three times, but only 1 person gave them feedback.
This is clearly not a newbie ~ but not an experienced seller either. I don't worry when low feedback bidders bid with me, should I worry about a low feedback seller?
I should mention that this person has the Paypal verified logo in their auctions, they have 20 auctions up and 5 or so have bids on them. The item I want to bid on is not on ebay very ofter and goe for less than 30 dollars.
Would you bid if it were an item you really wanted?

If it was something I really wanted, I wouldn't hesitate to bid. As long as everything looks "on the up and up", no negs, decent prices, etc.....
We were all newbies and "low feedback" at one time or another....

Some people have a life and don't look at eBay as anything but a diversion or a hobby tool. Not that that is wrong. If it does not look like a set up to scam a chunk of people with rediculous low prices and then vanish go for it.

Why would you hesitate to bid? It sounds like the person has several transactions that have gone well and no negs.
Sellers usually do several times as many transactions as they receive feedback for.

A lot of sellers have more than one ID. I have an ID that was registered almost 3 years ago. I use this ID for buying and on occasion to sell something that is out of my field. This ID has 16 positive feedbacks with months and months between transactions.
Iv you look at the feedback it appears that I buy something or sell something and then disappear for months on end. Sounds to me as if it could be a seller with a second ID, especially since there is a PayPal verified logo.

Yes, the more I have looked at this person's auctions ~ I am thinking it is a seller with a second id too. The ads are very nicely done with html and clear quick loading pictures. All the needed details are clearly written and everything is way too professional for someone just starting out.
