I recently had a high bidder leave negative feedback, but it was obviously supposed to be positive. I have sent them an email asking to clarify, but from the wording ("Smooth transaction, Thanks so much A+", I am sure it was supposed to be positive.
Is there any way I can get this changed? It doesn't seem too fair that I would have to keep a negative comment that isn't really supposed to be negative. Any suggestions?

My auction partner had something similar happen to her when she left fb. She had the positive marked but ebay scored it as a negative. Ebay wouldn't fix it.

Actually I think you can go through square trade to have this neg removed they charge a fee but if your buyer agrees they will remove the neg.. http://www.Dman-N-Company.com

From how the buyer worded it, it is a praise, not a negative. What I don't understand is how they did it. If you do it from ebay, if negative is marked, it brings up another screen, advising you what you are about to do, IOW, saying are you sure.
Not sure about that Square Trade or whatever it is, they are parterned with ebay, and I think $15 to get a neg removed is just short of extortion, IMO.

I had a negative feedback removed resently. I was shocked that ebay remmoved it, and I got conflicting information from 2 ebay staff (imagine that). <p> Here is what happened. A bidder did not pay. I filed my non-paying bidder, and final fees. I had already relist the item and it had sold to a bidder who paid immediately with paypal. When I went to leave negative feedback, I did so by going to the auction, then clicked leave feedback for bidder. I ended up leaving negative feedback for the good bidder, YIKES! I felt terrible, and emailed the buyer right away explaining the situation. I cc it to safeharbor, then sent another email to ebay asking them to remove the neg. I got 2 emails back from ebay-the first one said that they could not remove the neg,,,,,the second one said that as soon as I show that I left neg FB for the deadbeat, they would removed it. I sent them the link showing I left feedback for the deadbeat, and they removed the neg within 8 hours. I was suprised they removed it because I heard it is rare for a FB to be removed, but I was very happy they did.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought there was some sort of a rule that if a feedback is left in error - if both parties contact eBay it can be removed? Could be that this is an old rule, but I do remember something like this - anyone else?
