I have two of these hard plastic juice glasses. They are about 4-1/2 inches tall and the plastic is approximately 1/8 inch thick. My husband says his grandmother used to have some lunchroom trays like we had in grammar school made of this same material.

I have seen those, they were used in school hot lunch program at my grade school and we had them when I was in the Army. That would be in the 50's & 60's. Made of some kind of tough plastic, I can hear them clattering inside the dish washer. My guess is the're worth about 2 cents a hundred!

They do sort of resemble ColorFlyte but I've had some of that before and it said ColorFlyte on the bottom. I don't recognize that mark you show. Plus, the stuff I had wasn't quite that "splotchy".
I sold the ColorFlyte (cups, creamer & sugar) on ebay. Not worth a lot, but it sold.
By the way, I think this kind of thing will be worth more in the future. It's pretty nice stuff actually.

Hi Dixiebee,
I collect plastics and all the ones you mentioned would most likely be marked.
I have a book on collectible plastic dinnerware and it shows a tiny photo of tumblers similar to yours and it id's them as being made by U.S. Halsey Inc.
Unfortunately, the book doesn't give any info on the company.
I have to agree with alldings that they are probably not worth much. BUT, that spatterware plastic is my favorite and I know other collectors like it too, so you never know.

mapledr1216: Thanks! I would guess that the US on the bottom would be for U.S. Halsey. A friend was over yesterday and I asked her to look at them. She was so certain they were Boontonware. After finding information about that brand, I wasn't so sure but I could not find a website that had any marks on them.

The US on the bottom stands for someone we all know and love, Uncle Sam! Every Army mess hall I was ever had 1000's. A complete serving set would be a cup, bowl, drinking glass, which you have, & a metal mess tray!
