I'm using AW and have a few wholesale clothing and general merchandise catalogues from the 20's already listed and a few more to go. I can't find a clear category and used "Paper, Brochures" and double listed some under advertising. Any comments would be appreciated - not looking for trade secrets, just a nudge in the right direction.

Answered my own question (do a search on catlogue, dummy!) Interesting finds though. Found them in ephemera, advertising, and brochures at least. Searched CATALOGUE for 500+ results and CATALOG for over 2000 results. Looks like both spellings go into the description somewhere. Time to experiment.

We've had good luck listing things like this in the catagory of the bulk of the things shown in the catalog. If there are a lot of watches, list under watches. Or silver under silver. And so on. Also when searching, put an * after the root word and see all the variations. We learned this way that if you use the correct 'grande' in a pattern name, no one will ever find it. If you mispell and use 'grand' that is the one to go with. Dale
