I did some browsing on eBay to see what was selling in Dutch Auctions in big numbers, and what items are selling in featured etc..

To my surprise, it seems that the big movers are "Diet Pills" and "Spy Software".

eBay's big sellers on the "venue" looks like the classified ads in the back of a cheesy tabloid.

The only thing missing are "Sea Monkeys" and "X-Ray Glasses", but they're probably there somewhere.

Hey! Don't pick on Sea-Monkies! Wonderful educational toy! Not to mention the tricks ya can teach em! I've got mine playing baseball (better than the damn Red Sox!)!

I wonder who all of these fools are that still think diet gimmicks actually work?

All of these crap listings should be removed from Ebay. Imagine what a person new to Ebay thinks when this is the first things they see at Ebay's home page. Nothing like chasing away new buyers before they even come inside to shop!

No way will those sellers be "run" off.

Have you seen the business they're doing ? And it is almost all profit. We should all have so many sales.

It seems eBay is a Carnival rather than a serious market. Promise an 80 Lbs weight in 30 days and the suckers line up. Sell a 20 cent CD-R with web links and phone numbers on it for $18.95 that promises you can "ruin" anyone or find out anything about anybody, and you can sell $2000 worth a week.

I don't blame these sellers one bit, they're smart, they figured out the average buyer on eBay and play them like a fine violin.

I will be listing "magic" beans tonight !!!

Hey if I charged $9.99 for the secret of how to lose 20 pounds in 30 days, and then sent a piece of paper that said, "Stop eating!" do you think I'd get negged?

You don't think the folks selling the diet pills and spy software are getting negged ? They are. But they are pulling down a nice chunk of change too.
