After using and perservering with an "el cheapo" camera for the last couple of years, I finally took everyones advice and splurged on a Mavica.
Taking photos is fun again!.
My only regret is that I should have listened earlier!

Discount batteries for these units can be usually be found at Federated Department Store chains, Target, and of course Walmart.
For real fun you should try the $$Sony with the CDR built into it. It's a real kick. I borrowed one and took over 80 images at a show the other day, and still have over half a disk left....(-;

Cool, huh? I have a Mavica FD90 and love it! You can get great stuff to go with it on ebay too. I got all my stuff on ebay. I use the memory sticks with mine and it's great. If you have the reader they download in nanno seconds! Plus getting an extra battery pack is very helpful.
