CHeck your browser's help file for how to turn on cookies. They are safe for the most part -- not enough to worry about.

PAINSS,

Are you using Netscape or IE to connect to the web? Or something else? That's your browser.

In case you are using Internet Explorer (the one with the BIG BLUE "E" for an Icon), you need to open the browser: pick any page you want to see on the WEB....Then, look on the Menu Bar for the word TOOLS (it will show FILE...>EDIT...>VIEW...>FAVORITES...> TOOLS and HELP

Click on tools and look at the the last entry on the drop-down flag: Internet Options

From there, there will be 6 tabs...The first from the left is named GENERAL, the second is SECURITY...Click on that. Hightlight the first-from-the-left Icon (the WORLD GLOBE) (says INTERNET under it) and look down for two buttons: CUSTOM LEVEL and DEFAULT. Click on CUSTOM LEVEL..Now, scroll down about 1/3 till you see COOKIES, with 3 radio buttons: put a dot in the one which says enable...Look for the OK button and click. It will ask you if you are sure you want to change settings...click yes.

Now you aree all set...

Sorry, I do not know about Netscape!
