Has anyone ever heard of a preloaded credit card? I have been talking to someone who can set up a terminal for me for $100 no monthly charge on it, I can run credit cards for 3% of transaction.
But also I can sell preloaded credit cards, I could put any $ amount on them charge a setup fee and whoever buys the card would have to use it with a pin #, these cards can be reloaded at any atm machine and everytime a card is used that you sold you would get a small percent of the transaction. Also they would be good worldwide.
This is just like a prepaid phone card.
They would make great gifts, or maybe for people who travel or who could not get a credit card.
What do you think would it sell?

Mastercard tried very hard to make this concept fly at the Olympic games in Atlanta. The whole concept is just like a prepaid calling card. You just work off a declining balance and then add to it as necessary.
I always thought it would be a good idea for some risky purchases like online items where you're not sure the seller is trustworthy. This way all the seller could ever get out of the card was the amount that was on the card for the purchase.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a Pre-loaded credit card from someone on eBay. Most people want to deal with a bank or credit union for that type of thing.
