Been sniping with Vrane for about a year now and, so far, no misses...*G*

Until recently, the feedback widget was a handy tool too....

I don't sell much so I don't know about that part of Vrane....

I've heard that the customer service is a bit spartan...

I love Vrane!
Yeah the customer service isn't that great but they have some pretty great tools to save you lots of time.

I subscribe to power mailer, power relister & also use the power feedback tool. You can customize your own thank you letter & it'll send it to all the people you are leaving FB to. Saves so much time!
I heard that they are going to start charging for their sale reporter soon!

Hi everyone. I've been using Vrane paid & free services for a while, but the reliability has really taken a dive, from their paid bidder mailing service right down to the free feedback return program.

It's a shame, since they used to save me a lot of time when it came to returning a bunch of feedbacks at once and contacting many winning bidders quickly. And I know people have pointed out that ebay changes it's pages and services like vrane must hustle to keep up with these changes. But that's pretty much turned into the standard excuse every time something on vrane doesn't work, which is often.

I've had really good luck with the sniper function. But the easy feedback page either
gives no feedback but says it did, or it'll give positive feedback to those you instructed it to skip over. And no, it ain't my computer (standard defense).

I hope things improve over there, but meantime I'm checking around for alternatives. The way ebay is currently set up to give feedback, there are too many hurtles to go through to leave just one feedback, much less dozens per day as I need to.

Thanks for reading,

Jack

that's pretty much turned into the standard excuse every time something on vrane doesn't work, which is often.

eBay makes changes to its forms on a very regular basis. The last change with the signin was such a fiasco that it even broke its official partners.

Now that eBay has monetized its interface through the developers program and the Seller's Assistant, they have an interest in keeping non-participants like vrane off of the site. Constantly tweaking and breaking will do a very good job of driving people away from services like vrane. The answer will be either that vrane go away, or that vrane will subscribe to the developer program, and then we will have to pay for ALL of vrane services.

For the record, I'm quite pleased with power relister, but that's the only service I use.
I think they do a pretty good job of keeping the paid services working. The free services do seem to suffer some, but you cannot complain too loudly about a broken free service.

I love vrane and have used their tools for more than a year now. They are indeed subject to all the little code changes ebay makes all the time, but usually repair the problem within a few days.

They do pretty good considering that they probably get little advance notice or help from ebay, and on relists, for example, they only charge five cents each. That is a bargain for such a time saving tool, even if it was once free!

Currently the Power Relister doesn't preserve the ebay store category chosen in the orignal listing, and defaults to "other". I understand they are aware of the problem, and await a decision as to a fix.

I have not used them much lately since it is a real nuisance to have to edit each listing afterwards.

I use their counters and the Power Relister - I found out about the store category snafu recently, confirmed it myself yesterday, and am hoping for a fix soon.. I find it a huge time saver since I sell lots of the same items.

I use VRANE for relisting and find that function to be very valuable and so far, without any problem. I doubt I will be able to use up all my relisting credits in the time allowed though and I think free time extensions should be given.

Sometimes I have a problem understanding the instructions - I think they could be written in a clearer and less ambiguous way.

kyriaki (hope I spelled that right) - I hear you on not being able to use them up in time.. I bought mine right when the fees came in - got 1300 for 9.99 - down in the 600's now.. so I'm about halfway there already... I wish the PR would work on storefront items too - I'd REALLY use them up that way... 8)
