First there was road-rage, then air-rage, and now there seems to be e-rage.... I just finished reading the 7th posting in a row which devolved into a shouting fest...
I look at AW postings probably once a month to catch up on what's the latest venting or cause etc. Some postings are helpful and insightful, some are just pure vents that echo my angst on ebay... Sure the posts can get repetitive, but when they start to look repetitive to me, I leave. Many users however, prefer to leave just inane or snarky witticisms that are strictly intended to embarrass or ire the poster. I thought these posts were supposed to allow for help from other ebay users, not offer a forum to pick on people.
I think I have posted maybe 3 questions on this site, and all of them eventually morphed into a name calling fest or some off topic slug-a-thon. I must admit I used the forum once myself to embarrass another user you had picked on me in one of my postings. However, I also try to help people who have posted by making constructive points, or answering id questions, or taking part in chats... Some users may think they are making constructive points but word their posts in defensize or aggressive manners that are begging for attack...
Most of the people who decide to pick on others are perennial users - I recognize a lot of your names over and over and over and some of your comebacks are funny, but too often the ability to hide behind a user id that is "not your ebay user id" allows for a complete breakdown of social order.
Anyway, after looking at some posts here this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks, I am disgusted by the lack of human decency and politeness I see and I am now leaving to take a LOOOOOOONG break from AW. So go ahead, you regulars who often present yourselves as major ebay sellers although I don't know how as you seem to live on the AW posting board can now write lots of little quips about everything from my spelling of certain words to venting about this vent. Doesn't matter, I am not checking back in - go nuts. Here, I will even get you started: "What's the matter baby, get out of the wrong side of the bed?"....

You'll be back. They always come back, at least to lurk.

Some people shout and put down in their postings...others drop by, look down their noses at members, write great hot air posts about how horrible everyone else is, then blow back out with the wind.
