Palestinians Celebrate Attacks In US

PALESTINIANS Celebrate As America Bleeds
12:32 EST While Americans watch as the government struggles to cope with the most incredible sneak attack against an American target since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, there was unbridled joy in the West Bank. Across the Palestinian controlled areas of the West Bank, celebrations and cheers broke out among the Palestinians living there. For most of the past year, the United States and the United Nations have castigated Israel for its response to terror attacks on their soil as we sat safely and securely in our offices or sitting comfortably in our homes. It was only a few days ago that the rest of the world agreed that Israel was a genocidal, racist country picking on the poor, downtrodden and innocent Palestinians.

I wonder if there were also celebrations in Tokyo, after Pearl Harbour?????? The youths in the picture probably do not know that the USA has been the only country in the world to use the BIG BOMBS. This brings to mind the old saying 'Kill them, kill them all, we'll stack the innocent ones in a seperate pile later'.............. Nothing brings Americans together like today's cowardly attack.

Remember, you can pet the dog, you can even sometimes kick the dog; but this dog has big teeth and sharp claws and will rip your throat out & chew off your frig'n face

The sad thing is that if they met us in person, as individuals, they'd probably like us, and we'd like them.

Perhaps they need to be put on America's "To Bomb" list---oh, wait a minute, they have been on the list all along.

I hope not. I was not raised from childhood to hate. I was not given a gun at age 7 and told to practice killing the infidels. I was not taught by my religious leaders that the greatest thing I can do is kill myself as long as I take innocent women and children with me. When innocent Palestinians are accidentally killed, I don't see Israelis dancing in the street. When an Israeli soldier is killed in action, I don't see his family rejoicing and saying "I wish more of our children will die, as long as they take a few arabs with them." This incredible, pathological hatred that tells them to kill, kill, kill is like nothing Americans can understand. And so our foolish leaders keep urging Israel to talk peace with them. Am I imagining things, or did we execute Tim McVeigh? Why didnt we talk peace with him? What about the SLA, the PUSH, the Weathermen and every terrorist group that ever rose in America, why didnt we talk peace with them? Why didnt we just say "We'll give you what you want if you promise not to kill anybody?"
When the media puts terrorists on the front pages and calls them "freedom fighters," we are giving them exactly what they want. So they go off and kill some more.
Terrorists see any sign of surrender or compromise as weakness and to them that is the signal to strike again. They blow up a plane and we don't have the guts to give the death penalty. They blow up a ship in Yemen and our response is to run away. Israel targets their ringleaders and our response is to castigate Israel and say they overreacted.
Now it's our turn to feel what Israel has felt every day for decades. I hope our leaders learn the lesson. It was a terrible price to pay for stupidity. But it will be an even more terrible price if the lesson isn't learned.

The really sad thing is that some of them probably don't even know what they are cheering for.

The other sad thing is, they don't realize who they are messing with. Remember Hussein thought he could beat us. The Palestinian population probably doesn't number a minute percentage of the US total armed forces.

The best thing we can all do is to make sure that we continue our lives and our commerce - show the despicable soulless fanatics that they may have wounded us, but they have not in any way destroyed us.

During the blitz in London and surrounding suburbs (where I was raised as a child) that is what they did - continue their lives - despite the best efforts of the Nazis.

As far as I am concerned there is no Palestinian problem anymore. If they think this cowardly attack should be celebrated then I say let the Isralies wipe them out and kill them all from yassir arafatpig all the way down to their uneducated idiot children who are obviously being taught that the USA is and are their enemies.

And as far as Hosemama Binladen, his henchmen and the Afghan government I say we should do what Russia failed to do, we the USA should wipe them out as well.

These people are messing with the USA. The only world government that has justifiably used nuclear weapons against another country and if provoked we will use them again.

Welcome to WWIII and let it be swift and devestating.

EXCERPTS:

Updated: Tue, Sep 11 7:56 PM EDT
By BETH GARDINER, Associated Press Writer

Leaders around the world - including most in the Middle East - offered messages of support.

Afghanistan's Taliban rulers condemned the attacks and rejected suggestions that suspected terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden, who has been given asylum in Afghanistan, could be behind them.

President Gen. Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan, one of three countries that recognize the Taliban's government, condemned the attacks and called for cooperation to combat the "modern-day evil" of terrorism.

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat offered his sympathy to Americans and said he was horrified by the devastating attacks, which also hit the Pentagon.

Arafat offered his condolences to the American people and government. "We are completely shocked. It's unbelievable," he said.

Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, whom the United States has accused of backing international terrorism, called the attacks "horrifying" and urged Muslim aid groups to offer help "regardless of political considerations or differences between America and the peoples of the world."

Syria's government condemned the attacks and offered condolences to the United States and the American people, the official Syrian Arab News Agency reported. Syria has also been at odds with the United States, which has accused it of backing terrorism.

Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, a moderate who is struggling for power against the country's hard-line Islamic leaders, expressed "deep regret and sympathy with the victims" and said "it is an international duty to try to undermine terrorism."

Sheik Ahmed Yassin, whose Islamic militant Hamas group has carried out a series of suicide bombings in Israel, said he was not interested in exporting such attacks to the United States.

"We are not ready to move our struggle outside the occupied Palestinian land. We are not prepared to open international fronts, however much we criticize the unfair American position," Yassin told reporters in Gaza City.

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said "there can be no doubt that these attacks are deliberate acts of terrorism, carefully planned and coordinated. ... I condemn them utterly."

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak called the attacks "horrible and unimaginable."

In Germany, Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder described them as "a declaration of war."

China said it was "horrified" and Chinese President Jiang Zemin expressed "grave concern for the safety of Chinese in the U.S."

"It is impossible to fully comprehend the evil that would have conjured up such a cowardly and depraved assault," said Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien.

Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the attacks and called them "a blatant challenge to humanity."

"This mass terrorism is the new evil in our world today," said British Prime Minister Tony Blair. "It is perpetrated by fanatics who are utterly indifferent to the sanctity of human life."

Queen Elizabeth II said she was watching developments in "growing disbelief and total shock."

Pope John Paul II condemned the "unspeakable horror" and said he was praying for the victims' souls and for their families.

"This outrageous and vicious act of violence against the United States is unforgivable," said Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

Ordinary citizens offered condolences at American embassies around the world - Norwegians left bouquets of flowers in a park near the U.S. Embassy, Russians placed flowers near the Moscow mission and in Budapest, there were dozens of candles.

In Berlin, hundreds of people marched silently down Unter den Linden boulevard at nightfall to a service at the city's main cathedral to mourn the victims.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad Mahathir expressed sadness, but urged the U.S. government not to seek revenge. "Retaliation will lead to the deaths of many people and will be followed by more counter-strikes," he was quoted as saying.

AND NOW MY MESSAGE:
~~~~~
I believe at this point it is IMPORTANT that we do not judge. That is not our job. One person's actions or even a group's is not representative of race, country or another individual. We must remember what those who perpetrated this atrocity did not... There is someone's mother, a child, your neighbor's brother in these other countries. We can not call for sanctions until we know more.
This is a tragedy for the entire world.
Yea but mostly it is a tragedy for the USA and of course the Taliban gov't, Yasir Arafatpig, Momar kadafi and all of the other leaders of the middle east countries are condemning this attack. They know how the USA can and has retaliated in the past, afterall wasn't part of Kadafi's own family killed in one of those retaliations by the USA with rocket attacks.
Secretly these and other gutless world leaders are going teehee having a good laugh at our expense. By God enough is enough, lets send them all to Allah where they believe that if they die in the service of God then God will give them each 70 virgins and 60 wives. These idiots sure do have some mighty strange beleifs, don't they.
The sad facts:
1. The radical Islamic movements do raise up their children to be suicide bombers
2. It is not likely that we will ever know all the countries and persons who actually aided in this terrorist attack
3.We have the most powerful weaponary in the world, have been attacked on our own soil, and we have no certain enemy to go after
4. Until the radical Midddle Eastern factions are exterminated completely, life will be HELL in America, as we will have to have our guard up at all times, which will have huge psych and economic costs.
The economic earthquake from this has not yet really begun. Being on a war footing all the time drains an economy ruthlessly.
What was the point of such terrorist acts today??
What is the point, if you are Islamic, or even for Osama bin Laden? If you don’t take credit, who knows? What is the point?
Just a few weeks ago, I saw an on sight video taken in Palestinian schools where the children were being taught to admire those who died as "suicide bombers," and the children were dancing and chanting, as those of us who are older, saw the youth groups in Nazi Germany were taught.
These children are being reared to hate, both Israel and American - we are the devil to them.
Perhaps religion is the only point, although I see much hatred, and certainly no truth in a religion which would see such cowardly acts, were pleasing to God Almighty.
If religion is the reason, I still see nothing terrorists acts such as today accomplish. You certainly don’t necessarily make converts, no one “really” knows who you are if you don’t claim credit. You certainly can’t destroy American in this manor, such acts only gravitate toward uniting American’s, not disheartening them, or discouraging them, at first it shocks them, and then makes them madder than “h-ll.”
Pearl Harbor was an excellent example of how such attacks unite the people of America (even though we all know now, that it wasn’t really, truly a surprise), only to the public.
This just really makes no sense to me. What do you think?? What is the sense of such acts???
As some said above in another way – it is time to take a stand, to stop worrying about the “innocent citizens,” if a country gives refuge to such people they are as much to blame as the terrorists themselves.
As the American Air Born Units say “Kill them all and let God sort them out.!
If there were another way to maintain our security, I would rather not kill "innocent" people. However, the West has not been able to effect these terrorist organizations since the Lockerbie bombing.
The attacks were an act of war, and in a war innocent people will get killed.
Don't be naive.
We teach our children to hate the person in the car next to us every time we flip them off.
Fine.
Let's take out Iran, Iraq, Afganistan. As others have said let's level them. Make the desert glow. While we are at it I am sure we can destroy Libya and a few of our allies as well. Perhaps we can bring out every nuclear weapon we have stockpiled.
Naive?
I can only imagine that the special hell for those who hi-jacked these planes and are responsible for this is to re-live each and every death this caused over and over again for all eternity in slow motion. Believe me, when we know who has done this I can not imagine a horror that would be good enough.
Until then I will not advocate more hate and the call for deaths of innocents.
Meanwhile I think we should all make a special effort to treat each other better than we have been. On the ride home everyone in each car made eye contact with each other and nodded. We acknowledged our individual humanity. Let's not lose that.
Am I alone in this? Anyone?
What you seem to advocate is the same peaceful attitude that allowed Hitler to gain power.
There is only one way to stop the terrorists and that is annihilation of the population centers from which they spring.
Catching and killing the actual persons behind this attack will not stop it. There are more terrorists born each day in these countries and being groomed for more attacks on the U.S. How will executing the perpetrators deter the next suicide bombers ? It won't. It is time to secure our future and begin an annihilation program.
I suppose we could set back and wait, maybe even catch the supporters of the attack. And then wait for the next one?
Perhaps next time it will be a small nuclear device detonated in Philly or they will release the Small Pox virus they have acquired from Russia.
I suppose if you wish to allow the menace to continue to grow you should have your a** on the line instead of beseeching the rest of us to put our a**es on the line while the groups get more powerful and daring.
edited to add- It was not just children celebrating in the streets of the West Bank- it was adults too.
What I believe am hearing is you believe we have the sole right to decide who belongs on the earth.
I don't feel that you fully read my post when you think I am advocating Hitler peace. I feel you are using reactionary words. Inciteful words.
I said nothing about putting others on the line. Perhaps I am hearing that you are intending to be on that line as well. Or are you advocating I be there without you?
3,000 people in Palestine had what we feel is a sick reaction to the news. That is in no way the entire population of Palestine. One suicide bomber does not make them all.
If you can not put yourself in another person's shoes then just consider that perhaps those in that picture feel that the only way to stop their persecution is to annihilate everyone in the U.S. It is U.S. made, supplied and financed bombs and other weaponry that has been used on them for 50 years.
They are wrong. Isn't possible that we might be wrong too?
Just who is it you would take out?
Where would you stop?
Remember 500+ auctions have been ended by eBay that were put up by Americans just out to make a buck on this. Celebrating the tragedy in their backyard you might say.
You don't understand this is just the first strike. How would you feel if this kind of terrorist act occurred on a daily basis? Do you seriously believe Bin Laden or his cronies will just walk away? Yes, you are being very naive.
The terrorists in this attack used the means and weapons they had available. You can bet your last dollar that if they had nuclear or biological weapons, they would have used those weapons. My friend, smiling and saying "hi" to your neighbor is not the solution to this problem.
Unless the U.S. revises its policy and eradicates terrorist groups, we can look forward to much more serious attacks on American soil. You should realize that probably tens of thousands of Americans died today. A strong response is needed, otherwise the price will be much higher next time. Bombing a few military centers will not be enough.
A_S, I appreciate your trying to grab the higher moral ground. What do YOU think the U.S. should do?
In a way, the U.S. is responsible for the proliferation of terrorism, by playing both sides in the Middle East. It recognized the PLO and elevated that terrorist organization to the status of a political nation. Now we are paying the price of laying down with dogs. Terrorism is at our doorstep and in our own home.
At this point, the U.S. must gauge the support and reaction of the Arab nations, Russia and China. We can't simply nuke Afghanistan. That wouldn't be prudent. On the other hand, no doubt even the most dovish American leaders now see terrorism as a real threat. There is only one solution. Terrorist groups must be eliminated with extreme prejudice.
Perhaps with the Pentagon in flames, U.S. leaders will stop treating terrorists with kid gloves.
They (those responsible for the attacks), have also turned some of the people here against each other.
Religous beliefs are strong enough to cost countless people their lives.
Always have, probably always will.
Wonder if God really wanted it that way......
Anyway, at a time when we should all be banding together some of you are starting wars between us!
The best thing that we can do is to move on with business as usual. Show everyone that we cannot be beaten down by a mindless few.
Although I cannot begin to express my sorrow for what has happened, today is another day and my life must go on.
I'll let the government decide who and how much those involved will pay for this act.
The 'sleeping giant' is awake now.
If they decide that "The desert must glow" then so be it.
My mother is 79 and sat numbly in front of CNN all day yesterday. She remembers the Great Depression, Pearl Harbor, her fiancee's death in the South Pacific during WWII, the bombing of Japan and the Nazi death camps, the Cuban missile crisis...all of this horror in one lifetime, and now this. She told me she is weary...
There seems to be no progress in human evolution. We are more hate filled, violent and destructive than ever...and clever enough to have devised ways to destroy all we see. But yet we have this unique ability to feel Love. Are we worth saving? Only God knows, and it will be his ultimate decision. May God help us all now.
