My daughter just walked in:

Her teacher's sister died in the World Trade Center bombing.

At 11 am they shut the TV system down at the school. Many parents were freaking out and took their kids out of class.

The little kids were crying and screaming. They sent all of the students back to their homerooms for the balance of the day.

She is watching the coverage now.

Becky, I'm sorry about your teacher's sister. It's so hard to believe this has happened. All the way across the country I feel so helpless, as we all do.
