There is a thread on ebay UK Round Table -"AMERICA CAN WE HELP YOU"(sorry don't know how to link directly) offering help to contact your friends/relatives in the UK.
In the light of yesterdays atrocities, people all over the UK are giving their email address. If you need to contact someone in the UK to let them know you are safe let us help.
We all feel helpless in this situation and will do what we can to help.
I am in London and will phone anywhere in the UK/Europe for you.

Log in to ebay UK, then click on community at the top of the page, click on Round Table and you will see the thread. I hope this helps
