When I get email my computer says "You Got Mail". I was just wondering, can I get my computer to say "You Got A Bid"?

I remember about a year ago a cell phone company was selling a cell phone with internet service that would do such a thing.

If you know if this can be done Please let me know.

THANKS

I use AuctionTrakker for all my post-auction management, relisting, and my favorite feature - to let me know when I've got a bid!

Every time I get a new bid, I hear the cash register sound: Cha-Ching!

When I leave the room I turn up the volume so I can hear it in other rooms every time I get a new bid!

Exec Girl - That's what I want but I use AW.

Any way to get AW to do that?

soothsayer - Thanks but NO THANKS. I can hit refresh and it don't cost me anything.

I just thought it would be kind of fun to hear....or sad not to hear anything!

EG;

Isn't that cool. I use Auction Tamer and have a tin cup with a quarter being thrown in it. The auction gavel beating 3 times is a closed with a winning bid.

There are nights I leave mine up so loud my wife & I can hear it up stairs while sleeping.

You can use Auctiontamer even if you launch your auctions through AuctionWatch. You just have to load your new auctions into the program manually one at a time.

Hi,
With auctiontamer you don't have to add them one at a time. Just go to the selling tab right at the top and click on find my new auctions, then click on display my auctions, then click start, then add items. It will add all the items at once. You can even add old auctions that have finished by using auction tamers browser to bring up your completed items then clicking on the browser tab then clicking on find all items on page, then go from there.

I too have auction tamer. LOVE it!
It will also give the cha-ching sound on items you are bidding on.......the two sounds are nice as it lets you know if it is a auction you are selling or something is getting bid on that you are watching or may have a bid on yourself.

It is great to have it all in one place and moving between the browser tabs make is easy to write and list auctions.

Hi folks,

Let's remember that we can discuss a competitor as long as the discussion doesn't turn promotional.

Thank you,

You need to make an audio file first. Most are .wav files. Than you can set up with above mentioned program.
