I had a bid on an item for 2 days, I checked and it was no longer there, so I checked the bid history.It said administrative cancellation, anyone know what that means???Thanks!

It means ebay shut down the auction. Could be a number of reasons for this, from a VERO complaint to something that isn't allowed to be sold on ebay to the seller was NARU.

Eventer..I think they meant it was an item they were selling had a bid and eBay canceled the bid, this is usually because the person who was bidding has been NARU'ed by eBay.

The person who bid had 798 pos feedback, I have 205, no negs and the item was a pair of earrings, not an item that would not be allowed.

I recently had a bidder with a rating of 1488 feedback. Over 1700 positive, 3 nuetural and 3 very old negs. They won an auction (had previous won 5 of my auctions) and had a bid on another. Within minutes of that auction closing the other item got an admin cancellation.
Long story, but the GREAT bidder decided the no longer wanted to put up with ebay and some problem sellers. ebay can them and they are no longer bidding.
I was surprised because of the high feedback but ebay does what ebay wants.
