I saw a report on "ITN" (Int'l Tele. Net??) on the local PBS station Friday night, stating that a cel-phone call from the flight that crashed in PA stated that there was an "explosion, and a puff of smoke" at 9:58 (EST)...at 10:10 (EST), the plabne crashed in PA...12 minutes later the plane was down........

OK,..here is the part I can't figure out......

ITN reported that a "SECOND" crash site was found 6 miles from the "main" crash site, and it was a "portion" of a plane,...THEIR surnise was that a fighter jet took out the flight before there was a chance fot "it" to cause any damage.....

I have done a thourough (sp) search, and have not been able to find "SQUAT"!!!!..Did ITN find something that needs to be "covered", or were they fed a "red herring"?

That was covered by Fox or CNN or both. Same story-someone calling a loved one on a cell tp and describing smoke coming from the fuselage. The military flatly denied having anything to do with the downing of that flight but who knows...

It really would not help get the flying public back in the air to know the US will shoot down airliners being used as missles.
Even though that is the only reasonable thing to do.

I mean force yourself to exaimine the record and look at reality - these people will lie to you when they don't have any need just to stay in practice.

Truth is like something undeserved that they ration out to those in favor.

They lied about shooting down that airliner over the Med in about '67 and I still think they lied about flight 800. They did the same thing there - roped off an area seperate from the main debris field where the military went in and the normal investigators were excluded.

Lying is just what government does like a pig rolls in the mud. Gulf of Tonklin - atomic worker exposure - agent orange - secret wars and allies - defence contractor crimes - harboring of german war criminals - fraud against the indian nations - give aways of oil timber and grazing rights - illegal funding of foreign mercenaries.

I once worked with a man who had a lot of African artifacts to sell and asked where he go them He said he served a tour guarding aircraft in our war in the Congo. I said I was not aware of a US military action there. He said well yeah that is one of them the public is not supposed to know about. - Like no big deal. Made me grow up.

Common sense tells one that if the military would have taken the fligth down they would have had to do so by exploding it in the air. The wreck would have been all over the place and not so concentrated. It doesn't take a lot to figure that one out.

There is no sense in pointing the finger at ourselves right now. If we divide we fall if we stay united we have a chance. Trust me I am not a flag waving person but this much I know again common sense.

This is not going to be pretty and a lot more people are going to die. This war will be fought over seas and here on this land. We will lose lots of our boys etc. . . No I am not a doonsay. I believe we will in the end win but we must stick together on this one and before we go off spouting look at the plain facts there is no way a wreck so concentrated was taking down by any means of exploding.

The two senators from Pa indicated that all the crash debris was downwind and toward New Baltimore which is 8 miles east from the crash site. The pieces found away from the crash area were very small and light. The plane was flying very fast and at 7000 ft when the passangers attempted to retake the plane. There was no explosion from a bomb, it was not shot down. It crashed because of the scuffle and because it was flying so fast and low. Its anybody guess as to what happened and why it crashed.

Even though Americans would fully understand having to shoot it down, even though the press will investigate the crash by hoards of reporters, even though hundreds would have to be silenced, even though the US would have everything to lose and nothing to gain by lying some people will choose to believe the flight was shot down.

What amazes me is the number of co-conspirators that have to be involved in some of these theories. The military (100s of them), all the witnesses of the crash, all of the people that got phone calls from the plane, all of the residents of the area, etc. etc. These theories arise only by ignoring ALL the known facts and all the known witnesseses. BTW, this thread should be in the round table. It is getting more press here than it deserves. jmho

If the military shoot down a plane, no one on that plane will have a chance to make a phone call. Basically - kaboom!!!

They had made the decision to send a fighter plane to shoot it down ... but the plane crashed before the fighter got to it.

The passengers of this flight are definately heroes in my book
