petertdavis	posted on September 17, 2001 08:59:23 AM new How "rare" are they? If you're using the ebay definition of "rare", meaning that there are billions of them, then use regular mail. If you're mailing coins worth ten dollars, a hundred dollars, or in between, regular or insured mail is usually good enough. If you're sending coins worth thousands of dollars, then you may want to consider registered mail, as others have suggested.
