Note to our moderators.....

I noticed that you have locked two of the AFA threads, stating that there was already a thread started about it. Please note that although they were AFA threads, they both contained different aspects on the subject matter. (one was about an email to the sellers about shipping, the other was about ebay's AFA poll) The current AFA thread that you left has over 100 responses already! As you can imagine, sorting through that many posts leads to many subjects and responses getting lost in the mass.

AFA auctions are a hot topic now and by only allowing one thread on the subject you make it very tough on us 'simple minded' people.

I post this here because I know that there are more than one of you and I would like to make sure that you all see my request.

Please let us know what the guidelines are as to subject matter and feel free to also lock this one up.

Thanks for your consideration.

edited once again because I simplt cannot spell at this hour of the day!

Good morning soldat2

Actually there are 3 AFA threads open in the EO at the moment (not including this soon-to-be-locked one).

The Moderators appreciate this is a controversial topic at the moment and for that reason would prefer to try and keep the posts confined to those existing threads for the moment. This will hopefully prevent the EO becoming overrun with a dozen different threads with basically the same information (providing the link to eBay's poll for example) and will also mean information and updates regarding AFA are kept centralised.

Should the threads become unmanagable due to length, I imagine there won't be a problem with opening fresh threads.

Thanks again for your cooperation and I'm going to lock this one up. If anyone has further questions or comments, please direct them to [email protected]
