I'm thinking of 'opening' an eBay store and I just would like some input from some folks who already have one.
What sort of items do you 'list' in your store? If you have items that don't sell through a relist during a regular auction do those items do any better with the 30 days listing in the store? do you HAVE to accept BillPoint or is PayPal sufficient enough? In general, is it WORTH the $9.95 per month fee?

Well so far we haven't had to pay the $9.95 fee - they extended the free trial period through the end of September.
I list in my Ebaystorefront single trading cards that haven't sold on auction listings. Most of them start at $1.00, so you really can't afford to list them multiple times at 30 cents a pop. I'm also listing common & uncommon cards at $.25 and $.75 (I think) for the same reason. I've gotten some good traffic for some times, and a couple sales.
I also have my handmade items there. I think so far its been pretty successful - we'll see when the fees start hitting if its still Worth It.

So it's essentially a good way to keep merchandise "out there" and in buyers eyes even if it's not in your actual auction listing, correct?
