This is my buyer ID; my seller ID is lifegear-inc. We currently run upward of 600 auctions at any given time, and it is very difficult to keep up with which auctions that close successfully are getting paid for. That is, until I started using Seller's Asst. Pro to keep track of this for me. Now, I get back all listing/closing $ I have coming to me. It would be great if eBay monitered the leaving of negative feedback, and decided on a case-by-case basis if it was deserved or not, but this is, obvioulsy not feasible. My answer to avoiding revenge/retaliatory feedback- use a program like Ace Talking Reminders to schedule NPB's, FVFC's, and negative feedback. schedule negative feedback for about 15 minutes before the 90 days time limit for doing so expires. The chances that the deadbeat will have be able to leave undeserved revenge feedback are practically nil.

schedule negative feedback for about 15 minutes before the 90 days time limit for doing so expires.

That would work if there were a time limit to leave feedback, but there isn't.

There is no exact time limit on feedback anymore. If you wait, many deadbeats get NARU'd before 90 days. I leave my negs the day I file for FVF credit. My goal is to help deadbeats get booted off of eBay and I want my two strikes to speed up the process.

Any retailiatory neg from a NARU'd bidder is no skin off my nose. I have had only a couple retal negs in over 1200 transactions.

when leaving neg fb you have to have a pair if ya know what i mean. as mabllai said there is no hard and fast date that fb expires. i have left it at 100 days before. i feel the best way is to file it when fvf are filed actually right before. sometimes when you file that fvf you are the one that is needed to put the deadbeat over his limit and he can't retaliate. sometimes you take a hit in your fb...bottom line is if your overall fb is good potential bidders can distinguish retalitory fb from legit in most cases..............if you have to hide and snipe you fb well then you deserve to get a retalitory one on your record, stand up and be proud, NEG IN A TIMELY MANNER

Not sure why your focus is on "punishing" your bidders. I just looked at your feedback profile and believe that I have found the "source" of your problem.

I mean this in a friendly way, but, if you spend a little more time "listening" to your buyers feedback, the "source" of your deadbeat bidder problems will probably evaporate. It seems as if you are merely "reacting" to the feedback you are receiving, but you are NOT "listening" to it. I'll bet some of your deadbeats are listening to it. Everyone has a few deadbeats. I get about 10 out of 200 sales. It's like sh!t, it happens....

Everyone focusses on "getting even". I try to focus on customer service, quick shipping, and satisfying the occasional tough bidder. I only have problems once in a great while.

Negative feedback is USELESS 99% of the time. NPB programs work, IF you use them.
