In the 2-3 days I have noticed that transfers from bank accounts = credit cards.
I have a personal account with PayPal. A $100 credit card limit. In the past 2-3 days every payment except PayPal funds is coming to me as a credit card. I have had several payments that were wo be echecks and bank transfers come over this way.
This hurts!
You might want to check your account too!
Anyone know who/how I can contact PayPal about this.

This happens to me all the time. I think buyers are being cautious. I always pay with credit card if I can just because I have had so many bad experiences. With check or money order there is just not enough recourse if there is a problem.

The problem is that with a $100 limit in 2-3 days with transfer now = credit cards I have no choice but to deny the payments.
I could not find anything on the site that talks about this change. Can you?

Hi richierich,
I am not sure if I understand the issue. Can you be more descriptive, such as providing an example?
Payments that are funded wholly, or in part, via credit card are tagged as credit card payments because the credit card is the trigger on how the system identifies it.

Coonr: ye speaketh wisdom! I use their service, obviously not to send the rare $5.00 to Aunt Millie for her 100th BD, but so I can accept pmts for all that M-P I sell!
The personal account is for rare casual users...the Premier Account is for auctions sellers (and others) who are unable or can't afford (me on both!) a merchant's CC account.
Without some type of PP or BP or whatever, I'd be up the creek as far as satisfying my winners' desire for instant gratification!
By charging all my auction-related fees to the Debit Card, my PP fees are now very low!
