Can someone check and see if they can see the pics in my auction #

I am trying a new free web server called freewebspace.com and it doesn\'t show in my auctions unless I do the following...

After I upload the pics...Go to the manage files area of freewebspace.com and click on the picture and then go back to the auction and refresh.

This is very wierd to me...since the pics are uploading and show in the file manager area and then show after I refresh the auction page.

I use explorer and buy the way they show up in netscape.

I am inserting the code correctly, I just don\'t understand this.

Anyone use freewebspace.com? Hopefully someone could respond to this and let me know if they see my pics.

Only the first picture is showing up. I get x's for the other 2 pictures.

Your first pic shows up for me, but the second two don't. Strange... perhaps it's a case of "you get what you pay for." Good luck fixing the problem.

Same here, I'm using IE and just the first pic is showing up. I see you're at 497 feedback, I'm at 499 at this moment-I guess we'll be hitting 500 any time now! Congrats to you!

The first picture showed right away. The second picture showed after I right clicked it and picked Show Picture. The third one won't come in at all.

Strange...I copy and pasted the url for the third picture in the address bar, and could view the picture. Then I hit the Back button to go back to your auction, and all three pictures were there.

Very odd.

Only one picture shows up, but you can right click and get the URL of the other pics then copy and paste them in to see them.

I read over the user agreement of the free site you are using and they will probably eliminate your pictures altogether when they see that you are using your files for ebay and not your web site with them.

They are being pulled out of the cache on your machine.

I am trying a new free web server

Read the terms of use very carefully. Most "free" web servers don't allow "hot linking" (also called "remote loading" ).

Is it really worth saving a few bucks a month to depend on a "free" service to host your auction pictures? (It's not to me...)

I couldn't get any of them to show up with IE

I tried with Opera, and they showed up right away.

Remember - free image hosting is only worth as much as you are paying for it.

EDITED TO ADD: I checked the source code, and everything looks okay there. It must be something with their servers not accepting requests from IE.

jlady,

Now that you have a good cross section of responses, please edit out your item number.

Thanks,
