I use background color and so forth in my auctions but I just tried making it appear in larger font for selling large print books and I can't get it to execute the command. Anyone else have that trouble or success in making your description appear in larger font?

Try copying and pasting this code:

<font size=?></font>
(sets size of font, from 1 to 7)

Just drop your number were the question mark is and your set!

Hi to those of you who know much more than I do - where and how do you find the HTML language to change the font size, style and color etc...? I use Auction Manager and don't know where to look.
Would really appreciate your help - Thanks
The only place I've ever seen this is when you go into Ebay to relaunch an old auction but still don't know what to change or how to view it when launching directly from Auction manager.

I usually write in Frontpage, and cut and paste to the auction software. But any html editor will do. Remember, keep it simple, less is more, don't make your auctions offensive by changing background colors, adding music or stupid animated gifs and other assorted useless items.

Here is a site to try: www.webmonkey.com

They have an excellent HTML "Cheatsheet"! Print it out and use it for reference. It has a lot of the really basic codes you need to design an attractive looking auction template.

Good Luck!

Thanks - I finally got it to work after 3 tries. Still don't know what I was doing wrong the first two.
