Desperately seeking viable online payment system.

I would like to hear from both sellers and buyers on what this service is like, I can't get a clear idea of what the fees are from the web site.

Your comments would be appreciated.

NARU,

I've signed up for the service, though I don't advertise it in my listings (PAYPAL Preferred here)... I have gotten 2 payments thru them, cuz of my EOA Notices. No problems, ACH transfer to my Wells Fargo Checking only took 2-3 days.

Since they make you jump thru a few hoops to sign up, verify, it can be a little difficult, but overall I'm happy w/ them so far.

Jon

Buyer pays fees, they aren't that high... something like 1%?? They give buyers $10 to sign up after they send money for first time, so that takes care of fees on sending up to $100....
All that & a Bag of Chips Too!!

Buyers fees? I can't see buyers continuing to use it then, after they get their $10 for signing up. Why would they when they can use PayPal or Billpoint for payments at no charge?

I currently accept checks, money orders and Bidpay. Bidpay costs a fortune to the buyer $5 minimum.
I am looking for a payment system that will SHOW ME THE MONEY. I want the money to be either: deposited to a bank account or mailed to me. No "virtual account" or having to request the money.
I am not against absorbing a reasonable fee as a seller.
C2it sounds perfect except for the charge to the buyer, I wish they would give me the option of paying the fee.
Another wrinkle: I am in Canada and I want the payments deposited to my US dollar account in US not converted to Canadian funds. Does anybody know of a system that fits?

I've used C2it for several months and may have received about 30 payments. Their recent "upgrade" seems to be a downgrade as the site is now very slow. I've had a few people say they just couldn't sign up. I haven't had any problems getting the money into my account. I send the payments to a credit card and not a bank account.

I wish that more people would use Yahoo's Paydirect. I don't like C2it.
