The purpose of this isn't to brag, it's to give some encouragement to some of you who are down about slow sales.
I'm doing pretty good again. Oh, I've had a few more no sales than I would like, but I admit that some of what I've listed lately wasn't first rate merchandise. The things that are selling are selling decently.
I bought two things last week for 3.50 each and they just sold for $48 and $66 with some juicy late bids, and they both brought more than I was expecting! If I could do that all of the time I'd be walkin' in tall cotton. But you just can't get profit like that on every item (wish I could).

Hello Dman
I didn't realize about Nimda and all. Thank God we don't use Ipix. We have a webpage for photo storage. Doesn't mean we're immune to things like that, but we haven't had problems yet.

I can report similar success. Thirteen items closed this evening. Eleven items sold. Some went a little better than expected, some for less, but on balance it hasn't been a bad result.
Just hang in, be adaptable and we will get through this.

You're right Loose! Something hit tonight. I finally feel like I'm back in the auction business again. It's encouraging! These are auctions I put on yesterday and today. Not only do 15 out of 21 have bids..but they have good bids..and people bidding against each other. About time! Mayeb a reaction to the lowering of the rates at banks again.
The two A4A auctions are doing great too..I have the same things on bid in my regular auctions, but these are bringing in a lot more per!

I'm doing better, too! Had a bunch of auctions TANK over the weekend, but this week I'm getting bids on the first day, which wasn't happening last week. Wasn't going to, but I think I'll list more tomorrow.

I went to watch the season premiere of my favorite show tonight, and when the two hours were over, I checked the mail to find $85 worth of buy it nows! Whoo!
(That may not seem like much, but we sell mostly sell celebrity photos, with the occasional trading cards, magazines, or comics, and the average ending price is around $5.00)

My sales are running real odd but closing with winning bids on 95% of my items. I was slow for a week or so but now I'm busy as ever.
